About Us
Buying a small farm in the country had always been a dream of ours from the time we said "I Do" in 1975. Then with our three small boys in tow, our dreams were realized when we bought an 1839 homestead in Freeport, Michigan in May, 1986.
The property was the home to a beautiful barn also built in 1839 which was in need of major repair. Over the years, its condition worsened. Finally in 2020, we decided to have it surveyed to determine whether to tear it down or possibly restore it as a ministry/outreach/event center. Under the guidance of Hay Mouu Barn Restoration Company, the restoration process began in October, 2020. Our goal was to have the barn fully renovated and ready for event use the summer of 2023. Be sure to view our photo gallery as we move forward in this exciting endeavor.

The Barn Dedication
As many of you are aware, we are in the final stages of restoring our 181 year old barn and turning it into a ministry/outreach/event center to be open Summer 2023. On October 3, 2020, we dedicated the barn. This is a video of our barn dedication which was inspired by a prophetic word we received from Nikki Merklinger instructing us to march around the barn seven times with our family and blow the shofar, shouting to the Lord declaring the end from the beginning. of the restoration process.
